May 23 - Fundamental Aspects of Usability in Augmented Reality

Augmented reality has shown much promise, but there has been limited practical usage outside the laboratory environment. One reason is that the fundamental aspects of perception in AR (such as visual acuity, color perception, and registration requirements) are not well-understood. I will summarize some recent user studies on these fundamental aspects of AR systems.
